To the East of the city rise the Monti Pisani, where excellent olive oil and wine are produced. Beyond the city outskirts there are many other places of great interest: the national park of San Rossore, the natural thermal baths of San Giuliano Terme, the lake of Massaciuccoli and the Certosa of Pisa.
